Exit recordings released a fantastic compilation album called ‘Mosaic vol 1.‘. The album features some favourite artists of Worlds Below like indigo, Commix, Instra:Mental, Synkro and Scuba. The opener ‘In 2′ is a heavily compressed track, where each beat rises from atmospheric soundscapes. Was on heavy rotation this year!

A very powerful remix of ‘Before’ by Deadboy (see our post on the original track). You all remember the original from Scuba‘s ‘Triangulation’ album. The remix 12″ is out now, backed with a remix of ‘So You Think You’re Special’ by Joe get it quick at boomkat. Killer tune!

Every now and then, an album is released which is perfectly suited to listen to in an airplane. The sounds and mood accompany your view on the slightly rounded horizon marking off a pure purple sky. ‘Triangulation’ by Scuba is such an album. It has been on non-stop this week on my i-Pod, and ‘Glance’ is my favourite track. The melody in the end oozes an airy melancholical atmosphere, perfect for seeing the sunset at 33.000 feet. When do I catch my plane?

Fact magazine premiers the first video for Scuba’s new album Triangulation (watch another track from this album here). ‘Before’ shows how diversified we can expect ‘Triangulation’ to be. Forget dubtechno, this will be pure Scuba. We can’t wait to get our hands on that album!

Scuba – You Got Me

Scuba‘s releasing his new album ‘Triangulation’ on March 22, but some of the tracks of the album are featured on his excellent Sub:Stance mix. Like this incredible ‘You Got Me’. He’s coming down to Ghent (March 5 in Vooruit, alongside 2562 and Untold) and Brussels (February 27 in Recyclart).

Still remember Scuba‘s fantastic ‘Klinik’, released earlier this year? Well, he comes back with a new double 12″ on Hotflush recordings, called Aesaunic EP. Five killer tracks, exploring borders between dubstep and electronica. Top notch quality! My favourite track is Symbiosis, what’s yours?
