Commix – Be True (Burial Mix)
Somehow I only heard about this track three minutes ago. And already I’m writing about it. Of course because it’s a more than promising clash of Commix and Burial. Of course because I like it only after hearing it for three minutes. However, do not expect to hear anything from the original tune though, the track is for ninety nine percent carried by the typical Burial soundscape. It would perfectly fit on Untrue or his nameless debut album. But everytime again, that sound takes me away.

Lali Puna – Nin Com Pop (Two Lone Swordsmen Remix)
I heard this Sunday on Duyster, and I remember I had this song somewhere on an old e-wasted hard disc. The song brings back memories of tape-hiss, relaxing chairs and candle light. Thanks to Ayco for digging this up!
And yes, it’s our first anniversary, yeay!

Echodub – Anechoic Chamber Remixed
Echodub keeps on releasing quality tunes, balancing between ambient, dubtechno and dubstep. Their first album ‘Anechoic Chamber’ gets the remix treat with contributions of XXXY, HxdB and DFRNT. Highly recommended!

Andreya Triana – A Town Called Obsolete (Mount Kimbie remix)
Ninja Tune’s new rising star Andreya Triana worked on her soon to be released debut with Fly Lo, Bonobo, Mr. Scruff and Theo Parrish. Now her last single before the album release is getting the remix treatment by Mount Kimbie. Sweeter than sweet with a little bit of sugar on top. I like. Be sure to check out the original version of the track as well here. Promising album/artist!

Theo Parrish – Falling up (Carl Craig remix)
A perfect remix by CC from 2005 that he still plays now and again in his sets. For me, techno doesn’t come much better than this. Tune in, embrace and enjoy!

Karizma – Groove A ‘K’ Ordingly (Deep Order Dub)
Good morning, yes ma’am. The opening track of Karizma‘s album ‘A Mind Of It’s Own v2‘ gets a dedicated EP on R2 recordings. ‘Good Morning’ features Monique Bingham and gets the refix by Yoruba Soul. I thought it was a bit too cheesy, so I didn’t post it. I think ‘Groove A’k'ordingly’ is the best track out of 4, it’s a nice housy roller. Groovy!

Totally dig this! Love how this one melds a housy rythm with the dubby sound common today.

Four Tet – Sing (Floating Points remix)
If you start to think we are addicted to Floating Points, you’re right. This should be our x-th post with a new track or remix by this young bloke. The quality and flow he brings is everytime on point. This time he remixes the fantastic ‘Sing’ by Four Tet (check the original in an older post). It’s housey, it’s atmospheric, and it’s vvery danceable. That’s why we’re addicted.

The Notorious B.I.G. – Suicidal Thoughts (Lorn Remix)
Heard this tune in the Patchwork Pirates mix I posted before and have loved it ever since. Very Modeslektor-esque. Big bassline, nice progression in the breakdown. Good stuff!

Bonobo – Eyesdown (Floating Points remix)
How can I not be excited about this? My alltime favourite producer Bonobo gets the remix from 2009 revelation Floating Points. A lush and slow flavor unwinds around Andreya Triana lyrics. ‘Eyesdown’ is the single of Bonobo’s new album ‘Black Sands’ on the allmighty Ninjatune label.
Bonobo will start his tour in the US on April 1st. For the Belgian fans: you can catch him at Botanique Brussels on May 16th.
Have a listen to the original track on our Facebook page.
