The B-side of the new release of Joy Orbison on his own imprint ‘Doldrums’. This guy is firing the dancefloor with a mixture of broken beats, UK Funky influences and a serious house vibe. He is uplifting the darker sounds of dubstep and breaking the 4/4 house pattern. This 12″ is essentialy great, and due to this release I vote Joy Orbison thé newcoming artist of 2009. Bravo!

Four Tet – Love Cry (Joy Orbison Remix)
Apart from the snippets on his myspace, I only head three official tracks of Joy Orbison (if he has released more tracks, let me know!). And all were superb. And now Pitchfork points at this new remix of this young bloke. This remix oozes the same feeling as his other releases. Fresh as spring dew, a combination of house and dubstep.

Just heard this one on Studio Brussel also. Seems like the hype ( Joy Orbison) in Belgium is on. I am the third fan on facebook. I thought this lad was already very very big in the UK?
