Serious Danger – Deeper
Seriously, I had to post this! Summer tune from 1997.
Still loving this one. Deep and soulful dubstep with an MJ Cole feel.
You heard it here first! (Well, almost, right?) Our favourite producer is now remixing garage legend Todd Edwards. I’im not so sure about the vocoder, but the beats are tight. Judge for yourself by downloading the track for free at
Ramadanman is back with a great new minimalist refix of James’ “Put It Back”, released on TAKE Records.
Al lang niets meer gehoord van ramadanman ma dit zit er weer knal op. vet!
A classic Bristol soundsystem anthem, remastered and re-released on Unearthed, Punch Drunk’s new sister label.
Great new stuff from XXXY. He has been on our radar screen before, but seriously watch this guy in 2010! Quirky cut-up vocals, great bassline and funky twostep breaks. Lovely new track.
What a find! (Both this blog and XXXY) Imma bout to work my way through every post, keep up the amazing work.
Hey Jon, good to see you like the songs here. We’re all discovering new music because of this blog, and we’re quite thrilled by what we hear. I hope you keep on visiting, listening and sharing. Spread the word.
I came across this garage tune in the XXXY mix for Sonic Router (fantastic stuff, download it at Sonic Router). A pure nineties bassline, Aaliyah samples, and shuffling hihats make this track a true classic. Sweetness!
Unreleased-Joy-Orbison-tune-alert. The bass in this one is killing, the beats are cool, and the sounds are refreshing. Joy Orbison’s tracks have matured, have more layers and are even more melodic. Emotional electronic music for the dancefloor as Gilles put it. Correct.
Lovely track!
Miljaar… Joy Orbison on a roll!
Heard this one on the fantastic blog Sonic Router, and I can not add a thing to their perfect description:
‘Stasis (g mix)’ (…) just rolls out like a long lost garage joint that Basic Channel and Youngsta forgot to make back in 2001. The deepness is hypnotising. Enjoy!
