Loving the smoked out, dubby and deeeeeep vibe in this one.

When I was in London two weeks ago I stumbled upon a free 28-track instrumental album showcasing beats of Jon Phonics. I had never heard of this UK producer before, gave it a shot and was quite surprised to hear after a funky intro of 25 seconds this absolutely massive spaced out Dilla/FlyLo banger coming out of my speakers. The rest of the album is as good. A great discovery and I warmly recommend you to check out the album. Top notch!!

José James and Flying Lotus team up for this new lovely single from James’s new album ‘Blackmagic‘, released earlier this month. The production by FlyLo is not that experimental as on his album ‘Los Angeles’, but backs James’s sweet soft sould voice&lyrics. Perfect for a Sunday.
