  Have you read ‘On the Road’ by Kerouac (I did)? Or did you saw ‘The Blues Brothers’ movie (I didn’t)? Well, I first thought the quote in this track came from Dean Moriarty (crazy main character from Kerouac’s famous novel). However, the quote comes from ‘The Blues Brothers’. Anyway, the quote gives ‘Day Of The Dead’ a rough edge, and turns the insane zooming bassline into a perfect soundtrack for a rush drive by night. Wicked tune, and very exclusively made for 2562!

  2562 – Dinosaur 

  Dave Huismans released a new album this week under his alias 2562. The album is called ‘Unbalance’, and ‘Dinosaur’ is a track out of the album. You can listen to the whole album at 3 voor 12′s Luisterpaal (probably for the coming 3 weeks, so till mid-november).

  ‘Dinosaur’ combines broken beats with out-of-tune filtered lead synths. The bass however gives the whole tune a hip-shaking funky touch. Lovely schizofrenic tune, and representating the superb quality of the whole album!
