The sax sounds like it just escaped a Dynasty episode from 1987, the beats aren&#8217;t that sophisticated, and with an artist name like <a href="http://www.myspace.com/guidoproductions">Guido</a> you&#8217;re in serious danger you won&#8217;t be taken seriously. Still, this mutated dubstep track with a pitched up vocal is oh so enjoyable. The album is worth checking out as it&#8217;s the first full length to appear on Punch Drunk Records (Pinch, Peverelist, Shortstuff..)</p>

I&#8217;m not sure his new album is gonna change much to that position, but personally I&#8217;m just glad this 25-year old kid issued a <a href="http://boomkat.com/vinyl/285061-clubroot-ii-mmx">new album</a> (II- MMX) filled with &#8220;dreamy bass heavy space music around the 140 [bpm] mark&#8221;, as he <a href="http://sonicrouter.blogspot.com/2010/04/interview-clubroot-lo-dubs.html">describes</a> it himself. The title of this track (&#8216;Cherubs cry&#8217;) says a lot about the atmosphere in this track.</p>
