Border Community was -back in the days- a revealing sound to me . Nathan Fake toured the whole world to give his floating live sets. They released great tracks of Petter, Avus, Fairmont, James Holden…Even with your ears closed you could buy the damn stuff and be sure that it was kaboom!

Somehow I lost track of the Border Community family the last years. But last week I stumbled on Luke Abbott, who -to my greatest delight- releases on BC.His album doesn’t sound really new or has that new sparkling exciting feeling this kind of music had a few years ago. However it is very good in it’s genre and sounds so BC! Nostalgia!

Not so easy to pick some song out of it because it is very versatile. So I would suggest to get the whole album and put it on repeat.

Fuck Pony – Let the Love Flow (new album)

Fuck Pony is a duo project led by Jay Haze. This man is really hard to label as he produces almost every range of electronic music. Fuck Pony said to be his more housy side. The duo released a bunch of records on Get Physical but now Fuck Pony turn to B Pitch Control, home of Modeselektor, Apparat and Ellen Allien. Not so surprising as the album breathes the Berlin sound of the label.

The new album is now avalaible for stream on Luisterpaal.
